Nearly 500 million people worldwide menstruate yet stigma, misinformation, and lack of access to basic SRH knowledge continue to rob young people of the dignity and health they deserve.

Last week, two of EasyHealth's Y-PAC leaders, trained under the Youth Participation for Advocacy and Change in Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights project, stepped into the studio alongside our Communication and Advocacy Officers for a powerful 15-minute radio talk.

🎙️ They didn't just speak they sparked conversations that matter.

Together, they engaged listeners on:

✅ Menstrual hygiene: what every young person deserves to know
✅ Breaking the stigma:because silence is never a health strategy
✅ SRHR education: empowering youth with accurate, rights-based information

Fifteen minutes on air. Potentially thousands of minds reached.

At EasyHealth, we believe that informed young people are empowered young people. When we train youth advocates and give them platforms, they don't just share information they transform communities.

To our Y-PAC leaders: your voices are changing the narrative. Keep speaking. Keep advocating. 🌿

💬 What conversation around SRHR do you think communities need to have more openly?

Let's talk in the comments.

My EasyHealth experience

The healthcare system doesn't have a knowledge problem. It has a listening problem.

That's what working at EasyHealth confirmed for me.

As an advocacy officer, I came in with frameworks, reports, and strategies.

What EasyHealth gave me was something no training could proximity to real people navigating a system that wasn't built with them in mind.

Here's what that proximity taught me:

✅ Advocacy without community trust is just noise.
✅ The best policy solutions already exist inside the communities affected.
✅ Your job isn't to speak for people. It's to build the platform they speak from.

This role convinces me that health equity isn't a destination. It's a daily practice.

Every woman deserves care especially after her hardest moments.

Post Abortion Care (PAC) is the medical and emotional support given to women after an abortion or pregnancy loss.

A critical but often overlooked part of PAC is counseling
