My renewed pleasure of visiting the Bait Al Zubair Foundation in Muscat, an institution that plays a significant role in preserving and promoting Omani heritage, artistic expression, and cultural dialogue.

My sincere gratitude to His Excellency Mohammad Al Zubair for his cultural vision and longstanding commitment to the arts, and to Fahad Al Hasni for the uplifting and inspiring discussion we shared regarding heritage and artistic diplomacy.

A rich and generous encounter in Abu Dhab with Michel El Gemayel of Abu Dhabi Festival and Lisa Ball‑Lechgar, Director of Cultural Affairs & Business Development, whose work continues to enrich the cultural landscape of the Emirates.

Thank you for the gracious welcome, the inspiring conversation, and the opportunity to explore the Festival’s exceptional publications and archival treasures.

I was inspired to share the vision behind Bridging Nations and the inclusive artistic pathways that resonate with the values of Abu Dhabi Festival (ADMAF). Some seeds flourish most beautifully when allowed to grow quietly, guided by intention and trust.

At the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Swiss Confederation in Bern, I had the opportunity to meet with H.E. Mahmoud bin Hamad bin Nasser Alhasani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Switzerland, alongside First Secretary Amal Al Rashdi.

Our exchange focused on the role of culture as a structured vector of dialogue between nations, creating continuity beyond the moment of encounter.

This encounter was facilitated through the Bridging Nations Foundation, positioning artistic expression as a tool for inclusion, connection, and sustained international cooperation.

My sincere thanks to H.E. Mahmoud bin Hamad bin Nasser Alhasani and to his First Secretary Amal Al Rashdi for the quality of this exchange, and for their gracious welcome at the Embassy.

Welcome to NASA.

Or rather—welcome to the kind of thinking that makes it possible.

At the invitation of Nathalie Cabrol—scientist, explorer, and Director of the Carl Sagan Center at SETI—I engaged with her work around her recent book Dimensions.

Her approach does not attempt to resolve the unknown. It studies it—patiently, rigorously, without concession to immediacy.

What becomes apparent is not only the scale of the questions she engages with, but the posture required to sustain them:

a form of intellectual precision that coexists with humility and spirituality.

There are encounters that inform. And there are those that recalibrate how you experience the world.

This encounter belongs to the latter.

And, perhaps, only to a beginning!
