Wanted to share a note I wrote leaving for the ones who still enjoy a tiny bit of reading and wonder what’s been on my mind: 😌
I’m happy
I’m healthy
Creating music,
Playing,
Writing,
Learning,
Making friends
Exploring new horizons,
Trusting my intuition.
I’ve had the pleasure of playing some really cool festivals, clubs and met some wonderfully kind and loving people along the way 🧡
Finding comfort outside my comfort zone.
Taking real time to ask myself
What it is I want to offer to the world.
It’s an important one for me
We constantly change and the environment around us too
As time goes by I have come to realise how vital it has been for me to continuously ask myself this very question:
What I am I bringing to this world and why ?
Big or small, good or bad
We all contribute in some way
And without true self reflection and exploration
It makes it so much harder to answer this question
I want to bring people together.
Whether it’s around a table, in a studio making music, on a dance floor, on a stage, exploring nature, cooking.. There are so many ways to come together.
I want to make a show that has meaning, a show that leaves a strong mark on the audience.
A experience crafted by experts of their chosen fields.
If we’ve hung out you’ve probably heard me say:
“TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK”
because I think that’s what we humans are all about and it’s what we’ve done forever.
That’s how our bodies function.
our cells, neurons, organs all work together.
It’s soo incredibly fascinating.
I want to create music that makes people feel all the feelings. move. love. Cry. remember.
I want to learn and explore as much as I can about this world, the different cultures, species, ideologies, lands.
I am so curious about our existence.
I’ve been so tired of holding back
Out of fear
I read somewhere:
“Fear is temporary, regret is forever.”
It’s interesting how long we can hold still, in fear.
And how quickly time goes by as we do.
When stuck in fear I challenge myself to movement, i found the tiniest step could lead to the biggest change.
Open hearts make better art
Build it and they will come
