Ab dem 08. Juli könnt ihr euch das Kultmusical GREASE am Thunersee anschauen🤩

Rock’n’Roll, Rebellion und Rennwagen-Romantik gibt es diesen Sommer nämlich auch bei den Thunerseespielen. Vom 8. Juli bis 22. August 2026 ist das Kultmusical GREASE in der Schweiz erstmals OPEN-AIR zu sehen, neu inszeniert in der einmaligen Naturkulisse vor Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau.

Mit legendären Songs in englischem Original wie «Greased Lightnin’», «Summer Nights» und «You’re the One That I Want» liefert GREASE ein Feuerwerk aus 50-Jahre-Flair, Humor und Lebensfreude – gute Laune ist garantiert!

The legendary rockin‘ race with oldschool cars is sensational. Roaring engines aren’t the only thing you‘ll hear — we have amazing live bands as well.

Drinks and food as well as shops of all kinds can be found on our grounds. You can bring your tent or book one of our partner hotels nearby.

We have a flea market, kid‘s program, awards, dance workshops, DJs, tiki carvings, pinstriping and much much more 😎

Smokestack lightnin‘ have a fresh, distinctive country-sound that brought them a unique place in the music scene. For many years, these talented gentlemen have been traveling the globe and we are happy to welcome them to the HANGAR stage.

HANGAR BANDS 🎶 feat. SAM GHEZZI BLUES BAND
Sam Ghezzi certainly knows how to entertain! He plays several instruments, he brings humor and drama to the stage, he owns the spotlight and he does it all while looking freakin‘ smooth and handsome!

Now, he gathers his most talented musicians from Amsterdam on the HANGAR stage to bring you the „Chicago Blues“ from the streets of Illinois in the 50s as well as the swinging „Jump Blues“ 🎷

Well, his style will be carried on at the HANGAR ROCKIN stage, with THE BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN BOYS 🍬

Saturday, between and after the 1/8 mile races.

Like Moon Mullican once stated: „We gotta play music that’ll make them goddamn beer bottles bounce on the table!“
