While driving to the wedding of Jasmina & Amar I've had a strange but very special feeling. I didn't know why is that, but I knew in my heart It's going to be something special. And it was much more I could imagine. In one sentence it was a weekend of pure love and true emotions... So much love that I carried it back with me...

And this moment when the father hands over his daughter to another man is something that is always very emotional for me, but this time I couldn't hold back my tears either.

Mostar has always been a special city for me, but now is even more special and I'll remember it as a place where big love stories are born.

The best moment for me is when I deliver the photos and get the feedback. Not only from my couples but also from their family and friends. To be honest it makes me super extra proud every single time.
The task to do your best on the wedding day as a photographer is just the first part. The second one is selecting and editing the photos as soon as possible while maintaining quality. None of them is an easy task however happy couples make everything worth it to me.

Humans needs art... either to express themselves creatively or to consume art as a viewer listener etc.

On this day in 1992
the siege of my hometown Sarajevo began and lasted for 1,425 days - 4 years.
I was a child but I remember as it was yesterday. Unimaginable horror stories and bad things happened to many people in that period and with the ongoing situation in Ukraine and other parts of the world it makes me feel really sad when thinking about everything that my people went trough and what people in war zones are going trough.
So to share good thoughts I wanted to share few positive ones that happened in that period in Sarajevo... Those that helped the citizens who lived under siege to preserve mental health and soul.

I couldn't find how many couples got married (I don't blame them for not counting while beeing under constant fire)
But in that period:
- 3,102 art events are held
- 48 concerts of the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra
- 263 book promotions
- 177 art exhibitions
- 156 documentary film promotions
- 182 theater premieres
- over 2,000 theater performances

I see the same thing is starting to happen in Ukraine now. Which leads me to the conclusion that humans needs art... either to express themselves creatively or to consume art as a viewer listener.

I admire couples who continue with their plans in these challenging times. Some of them reduce the number of guests, some think about elopments which is currently the easiest way... And some don't give up even if they have to wait two years.
After chatting with one groom today and the possibility to postpone everything for the second time, the summary is that "It's not just about the wedding. We can get married tomorrow, but we don't want it to be as we are told and with all the restrictions. It will be the way we want and as how we imagined it"

So hands up for all the couples who want to do it their way no matter what ❤🙌❤🙌❤
