With over two decades behind the decks, DJ HiNK (Hugo Tavares) has evolved from a graphic artist into a dedicated architect of underground sound. His journey began in the late 90s Lisbon scene, performing at legendary venues like Kremlin and Paradise Garage, before a pivotal period in Manchester refined his taste for rare vinyl and exclusive imports.

A former record store curator and DJ instructor, HiNK’s deep technical knowledge informs every set. His sound is defined by a dark, atmospheric fusion of Dub, Tribal, and Minimalist influences, characterized by heavy grooves and a strong personal identity. Today, based in Switzerland and a key member of the Ostwild collective, he continues to bridge the gap between DJing and live production, weaving his own tracks and edits into a seamless, rhythmic journey. For HiNK, music is more than a performance - it is a universal language that connects on a level far deeper than words.
