Made absolutely yummy lemon curd. Never thought it was so easy to make them. Was wolfed down eagerly by the kids. You can add to muesli, spread on scones, add to butter cream and sandwich macaroons. 😃😃😃

This is a mixture of saffron which was wrapped in foil and warmed on the fire to release the flavor, pepper, dried thyme.
All ground in a mortar and pestle.
