What makes a healthcare meeting valuable beyond the event?

That was one of the questions at the heart of ICCA’s Future of Healthcare Meetings 2026 in Athens, where the healthcare meetings community came together to explore how meetings can create meaningful value beyond the event itself.

We were proud to have Silvano Schaer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Antony Jean-Mertens, Head of Association Management, contribute to the conversations , from creating shared value across partnerships to building credible ecosystems for AI and MedTech.

This week, ESOC 2026 in Maastricht is all about connection, science, and shared purpose, advancing knowledge to improve stroke care.

Today marks the opening of ESCMID Global 2026 at Messe München, and we’re fully in motion.

Our Congrex team is on site, supporting one of the leading global platforms in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. After months of preparation, planning, coordination, and collaboration, it’s always this moment that matters most: when everything comes together.

From registration and accommodation to exhibition and on-site delivery, large-scale congresses like this are never just about logistics. They are about enabling exchange, facilitating knowledge, and creating the environment where science can move forward.

What stands out every time:

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our Congrex Internal Open House Week, and it’s still resonating.

What started as a series of internal sessions turned into something more:
a chance to better understand how our teams work, where challenges lie, and how closely everything is connected.
