Today marks the opening of ESCMID Global 2026 at Messe München, and we’re fully in motion.

Our Congrex team is on site, supporting one of the leading global platforms in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. After months of preparation, planning, coordination, and collaboration, it’s always this moment that matters most: when everything comes together.

From registration and accommodation to exhibition and on-site delivery, large-scale congresses like this are never just about logistics. They are about enabling exchange, facilitating knowledge, and creating the environment where science can move forward.

What stands out every time:

A few weeks ago, we celebrated our Congrex Internal Open House Week, and it’s still resonating.

What started as a series of internal sessions turned into something more:
a chance to better understand how our teams work, where challenges lie, and how closely everything is connected.

Even after years of collaboration, there were new perspectives, unexpected insights, and plenty of moments that simply made us smile.

🎬 Award-winning storytelling for science

We are proud to share that the short film “What is ECTRIMS?”, created by Congrex Switzerland for ECTRIMS, has been honoured at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.

Premiered during the Opening Session of ECTRIMS 2024, the film traces four decades of scientific progress in multiple sclerosis research — from the pioneering vision of Professor Otto R. Hommes to today’s global ECTRIMS community.

Developed over nine months by our Senior Marketing & Communications Manager Naomi Smith, the project combined in-depth historical research, interviews across Europe and a carefully crafted visual narrative to bring the story of ECTRIMS to life.

This recognition highlights the importance of thoughtful storytelling in science and the role of strategic communication in connecting people, research and progress.
