I worked on this off and on since October.....
This is the finished product for this Making Monday.
The snowman was made with inside snowballs( I got them on sale at Kohl's 18 for $3 something on clearance because someone tore open the box....my gain)
The snowman was put together with a skewer and then placed on a piece of scrap wood I made the hat with cardboard and felt ( will probably buy some from Hobby Lobby after the holidays for next year) the small trees are DT I think. I added the gold garland by using a gold pipe cleaner.( Pack of 50 different glittery colors for about $1) The little red is glass tiles from my mosaics stash. The silver bulbs came off a garland I got from hobby lobby for $4.99 ( 50% off) but I only used a little because they were small.
Snow around the trees and snowman were cotton balls from Walmart( $1.98 I think)and I spread them out and hot glued them to the wood base.
Buttons for mouth and body. And twinkle lights from Temu ($1.01) The Silver Stars on the tree were clearance at Michael's for .49¢ and it had two sheets of different stars ( 50 I think) I used 2 the same size.
The Merry Christmas sign is just from treat bags last year and I thought it was the perfect touch. And a little blush for his cheeks.
So funny how a thought can come into a cute thing with little or nothing.
I couldn't get a good picture with the lights but it is really cute.
