There’s something so amazing about family time during summer. No rigid schedules, no rushing to get everyone ready for school, just... being together. Even the meltdowns feel different when you have nowhere urgent to be.

We love newborn sessions at home, but when apartments don’t have quite the natural light we need, it’s better to be creative and go outside! 🌿

SHK photographer Sasha did a gorgeous session with this sweet family in a park we love in Astoria! Look how awesome the pictures came out ✨

In NY, the city is an extension of your home. I always felt Fort Greene Park was our backyard... that’s what’s so cool about a city like this one - lots of options to do what you need to do!

Sometimes the “perfect” setup isn’t at home, and that’s totally okay. We make it work, we make it beautiful, and we make it YOU.

From Brooklyn to Amsterdam! ✨
We’ve done so many sessions together over the years, and meeting again—this time in Europe—was the best. Our very first session abroad (of hopefully many more!) 🌍📸

These girls are the sweetest—smiling, laughing, full of joy. It was such a treat to see them again and capture new memories in their new city home.

There’s something magical about feeling global—creating in different cities, soaking in new energy, and letting all of it recharge and inspire me.

New York is the base, and it’s where my amazing team is based—creating the coolest pictures with families we adore. Meanwhile, I’m growing in new ways, following my adventurous soul, and letting each new place shape how I see and shoot.
