Solomon Islands renowned music sensation, Jaro Local successfully scoped the Best International Pacific Artist award at the 2019 Pacific Music Awards in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Solomon Islander made his way into the music scene with some of his songs being the Pacific's hit songs and one in particularly was his original 'DAKINI TANGARARI'.

Jaro Local travelled to Auckland, New Zealand only two days ago in anticipation of taking part in one of the prestigious musical event in the Pacific music calender.

Indeed, an achievement that goes to show the hard work and commitment that the singer placed into his music career. Being the son of Solomon Islands legendary Island music artist, Sharzy. Jarol Local faces expectations of how well he would go in his music career compared to his father. However, this achievement now shows just how capable and unique Jaro Local is in making a good music career out of all his challenges.

A big congratulations to Jaro Local for not only representing Solomon Islands music but also Solomon Islands as a nation amongst the other fellow Pacific nations.
