Here we go! The first Farmer’s Market of 2025 opens at 5:15 tonight and every Tuesday through to the fall. Vendors: if you’ve had enough fun hauling and setting up your equipment yourself, give us a call. We’ll provide and set up everything for you. You just bring your goods to sell. 🤝

This evening, we used the tables, chairs, and dishware provided by Northern United Place and added on some of our own decor, linens, and creativity to create an intimate dinner setting. We are always up for using spaces in non-traditional ways. If you have an idea, give us a call!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of helping another wonderful couple tie the knot and to take two familiar spaces in a new direction. The couple flipped the traditional window backdrop in the Legislative Assembly Great Hall with that of the Chamber doors which we loved. The Elks Club which is normally the site of meat raffles and more casual meals became the setting for their wedding reception. There is no shortage of venues and new perspectives to be had in Yellowknife!

Last summer, in the midst of the confusion and stress of the evacuation, our last wedding of the season had to be cancelled. We were overjoyed yesterday to be able to finally see this amazing couple get hitched on an absolutely perfect day. The bride never lost her smile and found the positive in the “bonus” year of planning and wedding crafting. Congratulations, you guys! 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️👧weddingseason2024

Seating is in place for the Rib Fest opening today at 11 and on through to Sunday at 7 p.m. They have a full on operation going and it smells AMAZING.

It was a LONG weekend for our team from 2 weddings, private dinner events, Ptarmicon, and The Culinary Festival but, once again, they rallied and pulled it all together. Teardown and clean up continue through the week as we gradually begin to wind down from the busy season.
