Born in the mid-eighties in England, Emily grew up with a passion for storytelling. A picture is worth a thousand words, as they say, and since brevity was never her forte, the move toward capturing moments visually was natural. Emily is a strong believer in the idea that we’re all stories, in the end, and it’s within our pow

er to make and capture great chapters. She’s dedicated to capturing genuine, authentic moments that reflect sincere emotion. With a background in writing, marketing, music, and graphic arts, Emily believes that with a little imagination, everyday life can be transformed into something extraordinary. She adores meeting new people and truly getting to know them - some of her best friendships in life have sprung from photographic projects. (Some of which involve her being in front of the lens, dressed as mythological creatures!) She loves creating anything from the ultra romantic to the thoroughly emotive, and having grand adventures with her clients in the process of documenting their unique stories. Emily hasn’t yet time travelled, gone to the moon, or climbed Kilimanjaro, but she has travelled to many faraway places, created lots of images, and has made it her life’s mission to be as creative as possible toward everything she does. Stranded on a desert island, she wouldn’t be able to live without her cat, her camera, music, or a notebook; storytelling in any form, and artistically capturing life in its raw authenticity, are her fuel. Emily has been shooting weddings, families, milestones and commercial photography professionally since 2014, but spent a decade before that exploring the world of digital image enhancement and special effects photo manipulation. Capturing life’s biggest moments has opened her eyes to the most beautiful parts of human emotion and interconnectedness, and each occasion inspires her to dream even bigger.

Last night, my beautiful girl and I ran into a Spirit Halloween, came home, threw everything on and did a five minute photo shoot (cold!) in the back garden as we said goodbye to the last scraps of sunlight. I think it turned out alright! Love my daughter. The look was all her 🥰
