At Heavenly Coco Cafe, we honour the courage of residential school survivors and recognize the profound impact their experiences have had on generations. While today is a dedicated time for reflection, we believe that the work of truth and reconciliation isn’t just for one day—it is a commitment we must carry forward every single day.

Let’s reflect on the stories and histories that shape us. Each shirt represents a promise to continue fostering empathy, compassion, and respect for Indigenous peoples and their rich cultures, not just today, but in all our actions moving forward.

Honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

On September 30, we will be closing our doors at Heavenly Coco Cafe to take time for reflection, learning, and honouring the survivors, their families, and the communities impacted by the residential school system. We believe it is important to pause and stand in solidarity as we work toward a path of reconciliation.

For those of you who have pre-arranged meal pickups, please rest assured that your scheduled times remain unchanged. We will be there to ensure your meals are ready for you as planned.

We look forward to welcoming you back when we reopen on October 1. Thank you for your ongoing support and for joining us in observing this important day of remembrance.
