🎉 Free family-friendly activities at the Pre-Game Tailgate from 12PM–5PM, followed by evening performances and festivities you won’t want to miss! You will need tickets for the evening event.

This isn’t about Canada Day as you know it — it’s about uplifting Indigenous voices, showcasing local talent, and coming together in the spirit of reconciliation.

Pitâw Mīno Muskîkî Canada Day Pop-Up Market in Partnership with Winnipeg Football Club

This Canada Day, Pitâw Mīno Muskîkî, our dedicated Indigenous handmade market, is proud to announce its special pop-up event in partnership with the Winnipeg Football Club. Hosted at Princess Auto Stadium on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, 12pm-5pm, this collaboration offers a pivotal platform for Indigenous artists and makers.

This returning partnership represents a shared commitment to re-envision Canada Day events and how reconciliation fosters Indigenous artistry. By bringing Indigenous entrepreneurs to a prominent public space, it fosters direct engagement and economic opportunity. The pop-up market will feature a diverse array of authentic, handcrafted items, from traditional art to contemporary designs, all directly supporting Indigenous creators.

Come and check out a wide range of activities including our Indigenous handmade market, kids’ activities, and a tailgate stage. Food vendors include Beavertails, Just Loaded Food Truck, Blue Truck Smokies, Walleye Wagon, Tot Wheels and more!

Vendor Spotlight

Renata Meconse is an Anishinaabe artist from Pinaymootang First Nation. She lives in Winnipeg, Treaty 1 Territory.

Renata is a visual artist with a focus on painting and graphic artwork but she also enjoys making earrings and other crafts. Much of the inspiration for her work comes from floral designs in traditional arts such as beadwork and embroidery.
