# Megan & Darrell | June 6, 2026

**Photography by Xandra Photography**

Some wedding days just seem to fall into place.

Megan and Darrell were married on a beautiful June afternoon at St. Norbert Arts Centre, surrounded by family, friends, and the fresh greenery that makes early summer such a special time of year here.

Their ceremony took place at the Amphitheatre, one of our favourite spots on the property. Tucked beneath the trees, it's a quiet and intimate setting that feels a world away from the city, even though you're only minutes from Winnipeg.

After the ceremony, the grounds became the perfect backdrop for photos. One of the things we love most about St. Norbert Arts Centre is that couples don't need to leave the property to find beautiful locations. From winding garden paths and mature trees to the historic guest house and hidden corners throughout the grounds, every season offers something different.

Megan later shared that the venue has "so many beautiful spots for photos," and these images from Xandra Photography capture exactly what she meant.

Inside, the reception was simple, elegant, and welcoming. Soft blush tones, greenery, candlelight, and thoughtful details created a space that felt relaxed and personal. The focus stayed where it belonged — on celebrating with the people who matter most.

We were honoured to be part of Megan and Darrell's wedding day and are grateful they allowed us to share these beautiful photographs. A special thank you to Xandra Photography for capturing the day so perfectly. Megan and Darrell provided permission to share these images and requested that all photography credit be given to Xandra Photography.

Congratulations, Megan and Darrell. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together.

We’re pretty excited to be starting a culinary herb garden at the St. Norbert Arts Centre. Between the rain showers, we’re getting herbs planted that will eventually make their way into dishes served by Fort Catering.

One of the things we love most about this property is watching it grow and evolve with the seasons. From weddings and celebrations to fresh herbs picked right from the garden, every year brings something new.

Now if the weather would just give us a few more dry hours to finish planting!

Just before the storm rolled in, the Damson plum trees were putting on a show. The blossoms were falling through the air, the grass was turning bright green, and everything around the St Norbert Arts Centre felt like spring had finally arrived.

Moments like this are why we love this place. Every season brings something different. www.fortcatering.com

We love seeing the St. Norbert Arts Centre grow and evolve with each season.

Our amphitheatre ceremony site recently received a beautiful refresh, with the stage newly stained and the adjacent shed painted to create a cleaner, more polished backdrop for ceremonies, photos, and outdoor gatherings.

There’s something truly special about this space. Surrounded by towering trees, gardens, history, and the river, it offers a setting unlike anywhere else in the city. Every improvement is made with care to help make events here even more memorable.

Whether it’s a wedding ceremony beneath the trees, an intimate dinner, or a celebration with family and friends, the St. Norbert Arts Centre is the kind of place people fall in love with the moment they arrive.
