A true original, Fishead made his mark in the Winnipeg underground as the hardest of the hard. His uncompromising sets at the justifiably legendary warehouse parties that ruled the inner city afterhours in the mid '90s went to places that others dared not. When Panic set in at 123 Princess, when the Nutty Club descended into total chaos - you know who was on the decks. His sound was faster, darker, more insane, and totally unpredictable.
By the latter half of that decade he was touring across Canada and the United States, breaking down barriers and opening up avenues for Winnipeg artists to explode onto larger stages... and then he was gone.
Fifteen years were spent swimming in the Montreal underground and working behind the scenes in the music industry, occasionally making his way back here, but also playing gigs around the world and continuing to evolve.
Some of you weren't there.
Some of you simply forgot.
Winnipeg's enfant terrible, the nefarious DJ Fishead, still uses the same tools, but has all sorts of new tricks. He brings his inimitable style, and the deepest of crates, to Symptom XXIX.
