I am an outgoing, energetic and fun- loving guy whose passion is making people move! Music has always been a huge part of who I am. At a young age I was tearing up dance floors and putting together playlists , by my early teenage years I was hosting my own teen dances and setting up my own stage designs. A few short years later, I began picking up gigs and spinning at night clubs; Club O, Boom Boo

m room, Mynt, 138, Club 576 to name a few as well as Mezza where I spent many years as the resident Dj. Fast forward to the later part of my life, although the night club scene gave me many years of experience and great memories ; Weddings, Parties and Special events is where my passion lies now as I have grown to enjoy celebratory events, having a family of my own. I have always put my entire soul into my music, I love giving my crowd all the hype energy that I feel by playing and thriving off of the energy you all give back to me. My musical passion began with Latino and Portuguese serenades, as I am European, which progressed into the sounds of electro house. My music selection has expanded vastly into all genres over the past few years, each playlist carefully scripted and built by my clients individually throwing in my flavour as fillers! I have a love for metal, old school hiphop and rock an roll personally, and have learned to adapt to add pop, country and even folk ! My sets are guaranteed to get all ages up out of their chairs. I am also a voice for Master of Ceremonies and can easily add this to your package! My passion for music combined with my love of all people makes hosting your next event the only right answer for me!

The location of the DJ booth matters WAY more than people think 👇

As a wedding DJ, one of the biggest things that can affect the energy of a party is where the DJ is placed inside the room.

And honestly… I’ve seen some REALLY bad placements.

Sometimes the DJ gets shoved into a random corner.
Sometimes the booth is super far away from the dance floor.
And sometimes the cake table, photo booth, bar, or sweetheart table gets placed in the exact spot where the DJ probably should’ve been.

Most people don’t realize this, but a huge part of DJing is reading the crowd in real time.

We’re constantly watching reactions.
Watching body language.
Watching who’s entering the dance floor.
Watching who’s leaving.

And when the DJ is too far away from the actual party, it becomes WAY harder to feel connected to the energy of the room.

It also affects the guests too.

When the DJ feels disconnected from the dance floor, the party usually feels disconnected.

The best weddings usually have the DJ positioned close to the dance floor so the energy feels centralized and interactive.

Everybody feels more connected.
The room feels more alive.
And the DJ can react way faster to what the crowd is doing.

It sounds like a small detail, but booth placement can genuinely affect how a party feels.

Here are the top 3 reasons why people don’t dance at weddings 👇

#1 - The bride & groom disappear from the party.

I’ve seen it happen so many times. The dance floor is packed, everyone’s having a great time, and then the couple leaves for photos, outfit changes, the bar, or just to take a break… and within minutes the energy starts dying.

At the end of the day, your guests came to celebrate WITH you. If the life of the party disappears, the party usually goes with them.

#2 - The DJ isn’t doing a good job reading the crowd.

Being a wedding DJ is way more than just playing songs. You have to know when to switch genres, when to change the energy, when to pivot off a song that isn’t working, and how to keep momentum going all night.

I’ve seen DJs clear dance floors because they were too focused on what THEY wanted to play instead of what the crowd wanted to hear.

#3 - Everything is too spread out.

One of the biggest dance floor killers is when the bar, photo booth, dessert table, outdoor patio, and other activities are all super far away from the dance floor.

The more people have reasons to leave the room, the harder it is to keep energy concentrated in one area.

I’ve even seen weddings where the bar was in a completely different room… and surprise, everyone stayed there instead of partying.

The best parties usually happen when everything is close together and the dance floor naturally becomes the center of attention.
