Sometimes the most beautiful memories happen in the places we least expect. 💕

This morning was all about capturing some beautiful memories with Nana & Papa.

Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate for our planned outdoor porch session, but we didn’t let that stop us! We brought the session indoors and made the most of it — and honestly, the result was filled with so much love, connection and LOTS of giggles.

Because at the end of the day, photography isn’t about having the perfect location or perfect weather… it’s about capturing the people you love, the little moments, and the memories you’ll look back on for years to come.

So grateful I got to capture these special moments with Nana & Papa today.

What started as a photoshoot for the cutest couple turned into a moment I’ll never forget… a SURPRISE ENGAGEMENT! 💍

There was laughter, happy tears, a whole lot of love, and one very special YES!

We’re so used to thinking of photography as capturing families, couples, little ones, milestones and the moments we never want to forget. And while I absolutely LOVE capturing those memories, sometimes photography means something a little different.

Sometimes it’s about taking a step back… slowing down… and really looking at what’s around us.

The way the light hits the trees.
A quiet sunset.
The colours of the changing seasons.
A little path that you’ve walked a hundred times but suddenly see differently.
The small, beautiful moments that are so easy to overlook when life feels busy.

Photography has a way of reminding us to stop, notice, and appreciate.

Some sessions are full of sweet smiles... and then there are sessions like this! 📸✨

These two girls were far from camera shy. They absolutely loved working the camera every chance they could get in between family shots, and their personalities shined through in every single photo. From playful poses to genuine laughter, they made this session so much fun!

It's moments like these that remind me why I love capturing memories. 💕

I will never get tired of capturing a girl dad in his element. ❤️

There’s something so special about the way a dad looks at his daughter….the laughter, the protection, the quiet moments, and the unconditional love. These are the memories that deserve to be held onto forever.

Ending this session with this photo felt absolutely perfect. It’s simple, genuine, and says everything without a single word. These are the moments that make my heart so happy and remind me why I love what I do.

Some sessions stay with you long after they're over, and meeting Woodie was definitely one of them. ❤️

At 16.5 years old, Woodie has the sweetest soul and the kindest eyes. He was gentle, patient, and full of love…the kind of dog who reminds you to slow down and appreciate the little moments.

It was such an honor to capture this stage of his life and preserve these memories for his mom. Our time with our dogs is never long enough, which is why photos like these become so incredibly meaningful.

Thank you, Woodie, for being such a wonderful model. You completely stole my heart. 🐾
