We lived it | Let’s Discuss!

We lived it.
We watched it happen in real time.
The changes. The contradictions. The pressure.

So if you can live through everything since COVID
and still believe everything the media tells you without questioning it…
that’s not awareness. That’s conditioning.

After all we’ve experienced,
if you still accept every headline as truth,
I don’t know how anyone reaches you.

This is also why supporting small businesses matters now more than ever.
Not corporations.
Not billion-dollar brands.
But real people trying to survive and build something in hard times.

And support doesn’t always mean money.
It can be a share.
A like.
A comment.
A referral.
A kind word.

We get through times like this by thinking for ourselves
and supporting each other.

Whether you have a small business or not, feeling supported goes a long way | Let’s Discuss!

Firstly, I always go above and beyond to show support where I can. It’s literally 🆓 online (did you know that?)

I can’t financially support every single business I know all at once…
but over time, when I need something you offer, I absolutely will.

One thing about me that everyone can know is this:
for over a decade, I’ve been pushing for community effort and mutual support — not for myself, but for everyone.

You see me on your pages because I genuinely care. You see me pop up at your events because I genuinely care. I show up, I like, I comment, I engage — not as a stalker, but as someone who actually gives a damn about what’s happening in your life. I enjoy watching your passion simply because you’re passionate about it. Where others see competition, I see collaboration.

That’s what support looks like.
Not loud.
Not performative.
Just supportive.
Not selective. Just supportive.

Most people see dinner.
I see progress. 💛 Let’s discuss!

My daughter loves to cook, but because of her autism, learning to move safely and confidently in the kitchen comes with extra challenges.

Using meal kits has helped us so much. Everything is pre-measured, labeled, and step-by-step — which gives her structure and gives me peace of mind.

When she was younger, she ate only a handful of foods and would get overwhelmed just being in the kitchen.
Now? She eats a wider variety than I do.

She’s still picky about textures and certain flavors, but she eats almost everything now — and that’s a huge win in our house.

This isn’t just about food.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about independence.
It’s about progress over perfection.
It’s about discovery and growth.

If you’re walking this road too, you’re not alone. 💛
This is her favourite thing to cook and it is a vegetarian meal called Parmesan pan fried gnocchi.

This is such an important question that many of you need to ask yourselves: Who are you afraid to fail in front of? So many people are not “doing” because they’re afraid of other people’s judgement.

Think about soul food… how it’s made and what’s traditionally in it.
A lot of it used pork — ribs, neck bones, ham bone, scraps.

Those cuts were considered worthless.
Enslaved Black people were given ribs, collards, neck bones because they were seen as trash — food that “couldn’t do much” and “had no real nutrition.”

Until they smelled that meat hit the 🔥🔥

Soul food was born from the soul.
From creativity.
From survival.
From turning scraps into nourishment.

It came from invention, not poverty.
From wisdom, not lack.

And remember…
doesn’t start at slavery.
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself:
What was happening before? 🤔

Ohhh this is perfect for a fake-out viral moment 😈❄️
Here’s a punchy, dramatic, scroll-stopping caption:

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
Oh my gosh… did they just BREAK my car window?! 😳
I asked them to clear the ice and now it looks like a crime scene out here 💀
Tell me… window shattered or just satisfying ice smash? 👀
Kids + winter = pure chaos.
