Location: Vancouver General Hospital, Vancouver, BC
Wage: $20.56 per hour
Job Type: Casual (casual is defined as on call with no guaranteed hours. Shifts can be called out via short call (1.5 hours of notice), or pre-booked).
What you'll do
Transport a variety of supplies and materials within the facility by operating a Power Pallet Jack or tow motor.
Deliver direct purchase items and specials from stores.
Deliver and pick up various items such as requisitions, mail/parcels, supplies, equipment and pharmacy items from various areas throughout the hospital.
Operate garbage compactor dumping mechanism.
What you bring
Grade 10 graduation.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience with retail, inventory, stocking, replenishment, warehouse, supply chain, distribution, stores and merchandising.
Living within half an hour (Richmond, Vancouver, Burnaby and New West) from Vancouver General Hospital is an asset.
