Park Upgrade Alert!!

If you haven’t been by Lakeshore Optimist Park lately, now is a great time to walk through. Brand new picnic tables have arrived!

Thanks to our Neighbourhood Grant from the City of Waterloo we’ve been able to bring picnic tables in! Enjoy them as the perfect spot for lunch, coffee hangs, or just relaxing in the park.

Grab your friends and family (& your favourite snacks) and check them out!

This Sunday, let’s all put out any unwanted but usable items on the curb for others to take — FOR FREE!

Clothes you’ve outgrown?
Books you’ve read twice?
Furniture that needs a new home?
Toys looking for new kids to play with?
Let’s give our stuff a second life!

Label it "FREE" and set it out in front of your home by 9am on Sunday.
Stroll the neighbourhood and see what you can find. Let’s keep good stuff out of landfills and help each other out.
