WLU Fringe

WLU Fringe WLU Fr!nge is Wilfrid Laurier's Arts Festival held every year. All of the submissions are student written, directed and performed.

The Fringe Festival is one of only two artistic performance outlets for WLU students on campus. The Fringe Festival along with Laurier Musical Theatre represent the only theatrical based organizations at Laurier. We are a one-act play and short film festival held every year usually in the last weekend of January. All of the plays and films that premiere in Fringe are written, directed, acted, prod

uced, and managed by students. The Fringe Festival exists to provide for students an artistic outlet that is not currently well recognized by the University. We believe the innate creativity in all young people is something to be proud of and something to be displayed for all to see and enjoy. Follow us on Twitter!

Hey all, it is with great regret that the Producers of the Fr!nge Festival have decided not to have a festival this year. Unfortunately as the season progressed we had a content-drain and we felt, at this point, we could not give our loyal fans value for their money with such a short run-time for too few productions. This is a natural occurrence, we are entirely student-driven and sometimes we just do not have enough plays and films for the festival. In light of this, we are currently looking into our past in order to safeguard our future. We intend to bring Fr!nge back to it's former glory as a true festival with many various forms of artistic performance over many more days. Stay tuned for future developments.

TONIGHT! After survivng the HurriCAN'T last night we're stoked for the final day of auditions today. 9:30pm - 11:30pm in the SLC! Please share this status so we can get as many people out as possible for a successful Fr!nge Festival this season! See you tonight.

For all of our friends we'd like to let you know that the second and final round of Fr!nge Auditions will be Tuesday October 30th from 9:30-11:30pm in the Student Leadership Centre which is in the 24 lounge! Bring a monologue or choose one of the ones that we have! And feel free to message us any questions or concerns you may have!!!

Tonight is the night! First round of auditions are from 9pm-11pm in N1001. Come out and audition for the only student written directed, and acted one act play and short film festival in the region!!!

DON'T FORGET! Fringe auditions are THIS Wednesday and Thursday night in the Science Building! They are in N1001 and N1002 respectively from 9pm-11pm. Bring a monologue or any performance piece and a smile! :)
