A look back at an incredible Industry Night at the Seaweed Symposium!🌿

From the energy in the room to the delicious catering by Truffles, it was a night full of meaningful conversations, new connections, and big ideas for the future of our blue economy.

We’re so grateful to our sponsors — COAST, Ocean Startup Project, and Cascadia Seaweed — for making this event possible and for championing innovation in the ocean sector. Their continued support helps us create spaces where entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry leaders can come together to share, collaborate, and spark change.

Whether it was networking over seaweed-based innovations or learning about the latest projects driving ocean sustainability, the momentum from this evening was undeniable. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Here’s to building a stronger, more sustainable future — together.

Tonight’s Indigenous Social was a beautiful gathering of community, culture, and connection.

Held at Sunset Labs and catered by Songhees Catering Services, the evening brought together Indigenous delegates and guests to share a meal, meaningful conversation, and a shared passion for seaweed.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came and made space for storytelling, laughter, and kinship.

This special evening was made possible with generous support from The Pew Charitable Trusts.
