This rainy weather has us dreaming of warm summer nights and wedding season in full swing.

While things may look a little quieter on the event side, weā€™ve been anything but slow. Winter is our planning power season. Weā€™re deep in strategy mode with our couples and working hard behind the scenes to make the magic seamless.

Think: client meetings, team training, lunch & learns, webinars, coffee dates with our amazing vendor friends, refreshed contracts and templates, website updates, process reviews, inventory organizingā€¦ and yes, lots of accounting šŸ˜…

All of this so we can show up calm, prepared, and ready when your big day arrives xo

At my very first meeting with Maggie and Jake, they casually mentioned theyā€™d be ending their wedding night with a late night pool jump. Iā€™m not sure if they noticed, but there was definitely a tiny pause on my endā€¦ mostly because this was on my wedding dream bucket list and I couldnā€™t believe it was finally happening.

Pretty sure that pause was immediately followed by an ā€œOMG YES!ā€

And let me tell youā€¦ their day did not disappoint. These two were everything you hope for in a couple. They were fun, kind, adventurous, and just an absolute joy to be around. The perfect mix of heart and chaos in the very best way.

There are SO many amazing photos from this gallery and I cannot wait to share some with you. just when I think you couldnā€™t possibly get any more amazing, you give us this! SO much love for you and your talent! Thank you!

About Me

Iā€™m Tammy and Blue Lily Event Planning is my little company where Iā€™m fortunate to be able to share my love for creating pretty and inspiring things with all of you.

A little about meā€¦.

ā€‹I believe in family and finding joy in the simple things. There are so many tiny but wonderful moments in life and finding beauty in the unexpected is a must. I am a bubble bath and greeting card addict. I believe the recipe to a great party is made up of 3 simple things: good friends, good food and good atmosphere. I find a cup of tea and a good friend can cure most anything. I donā€™t believe in saving things for a special occasion. I use my good china every day and I wear perfume to do my laundry.

ā€‹I grew up in the Cowichan Valley and have lived on beautiful Vancouver Island all my life. Iā€™m an avid camper and enjoy giving back to my community. I've been a leader with Girl Guides of Canada for over 20 years and love every moment with my girls and our crazy adventures.
