🎉It's been a long time coming, but our team is getting ready for our big RELAUNCH! Weddings by Nicole is officially growing up 🥺 Introducing the brand new name - Intended Weddings & Events! Our website will be under construction for a few days while we tidy up and upgrade, so please bear with us. We’ll share our new home this coming Friday!

A note from founder and lead planner Nicole on what this means:

"It’s been an incredible journey so far as Weddings by Nicole. I’ve loved getting to know each and every one of our couples on their way to their wedding, and have learned so much from all of them. Planning these meaningful and momentous events is an honour, and getting to do that authentically is a privilege.

With that, I wanted to better represent our work and values with my business. I work with you to find and understand your event’s purpose, and plan and celebrate in a way that is unique and tailored to you. This led to our new name - Intended. We’re here to plan and design events that are fun, unique, thoughtful, and of course, intentional!

The season begins! 🎉

An amazing first wedding of 2023 for me with M&D’s big day in Victoria. I haven’t known these folks long, but their love of fun, the connection they share, and their lovely family and friends made the day one to remember. The rain threatened us a bit, but held back as a wedding gift! 🙏 It also of course helps to have a FANTASTIC group of vendors and venue support ❤️

A happy Wedding Wednesday to everyone! 🎉

It feels good to be writing this from a brand new house 🏡, all moved in with my wonderful fiancé and our creatures 🐈🦜. A huge thank you to my clients and vendors for being patient while I let myself leave emails a little longer than usual! It's so GOOD to take the time you need for yourself, and I always recommend this to couples planning weddings as well. TAKE TIME to recharge and focus on what's important.

Love is in the air ❤️

And it for sure was at S + S's beautiful mountaintop celebration at Mount Washington this past August! It was such a beautiful event, full of laughs, grilled cheese sandwich references, and a sprinkle of good luck rain and mist.

I can't guarantee the weather at your wedding, but I can help you embrace it and prepare for it 🌂! I still have a few dates available for planning clients in 2023 for the spring, and late summer/fall! I can't wait for more of these moments, message me if you are looking for wedding support!

An AMAZING announcement! 🎉

Weddings by Nicole has teamed up with an incredible group of wedding vendors from Vancouver Island to put together a winter ❄ themed wedding pop-up event on December 2nd and 3rd, 2023 at Starling Lane Vineyard in Saanich.

And just like that, my summer of weddings comes to a beautiful end!

At home soaking my feet, so grateful for an amazing last August couple and their great vendor team.

Can’t wait to sit down in September and go through each event again, look at photos, and connect with everyone. It’s been such a privilege to be a part of each event these past few months.

Record breaking step count for today’s AMAZING wedding for Taylor and Brandon.

I am beyond grateful to these two for allowing me to be a part of their day. The work and love they put into their celebration was so wonderful, not to mention their amazing family and the genuine care they have for one another.

Shoutout to for helping me sniffle in style at all the vows and speeches. I love it 🥰
