🤠 BUCKLE UP, BUTTERCUP — IT’S IPE WEEK! 🤠

This week Hunger Payne’s is trading our usual routine for burgers, boots, bulls and an absolutely unreasonable amount of food. 🍔🔥

🌾 MONDAY
Vernon Farmers Market | 8–1
One last market before we ride directly into the chaos.

🐎 TUESDAY
Getting set up at the Armstrong IPE!
No serving — just hauling, stocking, prepping, organizing, reorganizing, asking where somebody put something, discovering it directly in front of us, and pretending everything is going exactly according to plan.

🎡 WEDNESDAY–SUNDAY
🔥 ARMSTRONG IPE 🔥

Five. Straight. Days.

We’ll be slinging burgers, dropping fries and feeding hungry IPE crowds until we either run out of food or become permanently scented like a deep fryer.

Come find the Hunger Payne’s truck, bring your appetite and say hello! If we stare blankly at you by Sunday, just toss us a Gatorade and point us back toward the grill. 😂

😴 THEN WE’RE TAKING THE WEEK OFF.

That’s right. After the IPE, the Hunger Payne’s crew is officially OUT OF OFFICE.

No markets.
No pop-ups.
No “Hey, are you guys open today?”

Just recovering, sleeping, locating muscles we forgot existed and attempting to remember what normal people do when they aren’t feeding several thousand of their closest friends.

🚨 THIS WEEK AT HUNGER PAYNE’S 🚨

We’ve got five days of feeding people followed by two days of voluntarily locking ourselves into IPE prep mode and questioning every decision that led us here. 😂🍔

Starting the week strong. Fries will be hot. We may not be.

Vernon Home Building Centre
⏰ 7 AM – 3 PM
Yes. 7 AM. Apparently burgers have morning people now.

😴 WEDNESDAY
OFF
And by “off” we mean there is an approximately 94% chance somebody is still doing food-truck stuff.

Vernon Farmers Market
⏰ 8 AM – 1 PM
Back again like you didn’t just see us Monday. 👋

🌳 FRIDAY
Polson Market
⏰ 4 PM – 8 PM
Come get supper. It saves you from cooking, and more importantly, it gives us someone to talk to besides each other.

🔥 SATURDAY & SUNDAY
PREP FOR THE IPE

No public service. No cute little market setup. Just us, an unreasonable amount of food, several lists, more lists explaining the first lists, and somebody inevitably asking:

“WHERE DID YOU PUT THE ______?!”

The answer will be:
“I didn’t touch it.”

Narrator: They absolutely touched it.

Unfortunately, the Okanagan Vendor Collective Market (OVCM) scheduled for Sunday, August 9 has been cancelled due to poor air quality.

We’re disappointed we won’t get to see everyone, but the health and safety of vendors, customers, and our community comes first.
