A few photos from the Dried Flower Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop.

My phone was acting up so a nice participant took a few for me. Tgank you for doing this!
It was the first workshop in the greenhouse. Going to name it “The Bloom Room”.

I had lots of fun doing this workshop. There will be probably 3 more following.

You all made it so much fun and did an amazing job.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. It is a day to honour the Indigenous children that were taken away through the Residential “School” System, and their families and communities. It is a day to raise awareness of the horrific experiences many Indigenous people had in Residential “Schools,” as well as the legacy of this system. It is a moment to recognize not only historic harms but also the intergenerational impacts and ongoing violence Indigenous communities continue to face.

I love you and whenever we open each year we will honour your people and recognize that this land was taken from them!

Last Friday and Saturday afternoon we were harvesting our pumpkins! I couldn’t have done it without my little farm helper!! Isn’t she amazing!?
And my husband for hauling the big pumpkins! Love you!
