A tall ceiling requires a tall centrepiece! Because this celebration was in honour of a baby boy, we just had to include this adorable vintage toy peddle car to our receiving table, which went perfectly with our colour scheme. We also added the car motif to other elements of the Italian themed decor, like this poster we designed of a car driving past the beautiful Italian landscape. The car also served a purpose and was used as our card box and also to take photos with our cute guest of honour. Swipe ➡️ for another look at this cute set up.

In keeping with the Italian theme, we decided to switch things up and use these customized Italian postcards, with an “A” monogram as a stamp, in lieu of a traditional guestbook. A sign instructed people to “send a postcard with your love and well wishes.” A beautiful vintage mailbox was used to house all of the messages. One of my favourite elements from this event were the custom made guest favours that picked up on the colour theme in the most perfect way. These mini cookie cakes, hand cut in the shape of an “A” for “Adam”, were not only beautiful but also delicious. Swipe ➡️ to see a few more detailed shots.
