Hello everyone,
I would like to share a small creative project that is very dear to me.
This August, I am opening a four-week creative atelier for a very small group of children, with one session per week. After more than 17 years of working creatively with children, I still find it remarkable to see how proud they become when they discover what they can make with their own hands.
During the four sessions, the children will paint on wood, learn to work with a sewing machine and a drill under close supervision, and create beautiful decorative pieces for their bedroom or playroom. These will be real, carefully made objects that they can use, keep and feel genuinely proud of.
The group will have a maximum of five children, guided by two adults—and accompanied by our gentle and loving dog. The small group will allow us to give each child the time, attention and space they need to work at their own pace.
The atelier is for children ages 5 to 8 and will take place in our backyard garden studio in Vaudreuil, in the Village sur le Lac neighbourhood.
