Hannah Rose is a West-Coast based, singer-songwriter specializing in folk, western and country since 2017. Her lyrics are a reflection of family, legacy, growth, love and heartbreak.
Hannah’s writing is inspired by everyday events, and she enjoys finding uniqueness and beauty in the mundane.
Along with Hannah, the band is built up with the amazing talent of local legends Adam Farnsworth (keyboard and backing vocals), Alex Taylor (bass), and Victoria Hartman (fiddle and vocals).
Their debut album “Written on a Brown Paper Bag” (2025), was produced at Skeena Street Studios by Adam Farnsworth and Carl Craig. The album is available on bandcamp and soon to be released on all online platforms

🚨🚨🚨THIS WEEK ITS ❗❗❗
No one knows exactly when Hank Hernandez drifted into Vancouver, or how. Some say he rode in a couple of years ago from the wheat fields, clinging to the top of a CP Rail car. Others say he washed up in English Bay just the other week, fists full of the remains of a shredded dinghy. Still others argue he’s been here all along, watching the city’s denizens and scribbling furiously in a yellowed notebook.

What we do know is that he sings, he’s handy on the keys, handsy on the guitar, and writes personal, funny and thoughtful lyrics about escape, heartbreak, travels, and sweaters. He’s taken indie rock, pop, country and folk, put them in a mortar and pestle, smashed at them for a bit before taking out the resulting wad and pawing at it like a sadistic cat before presenting it to audiences everywhere.

Hank is excited to make his debut performance at Lanalou’s in support of his EP, “Me on the Other Side,” available to stream on all major platforms.
