Hello hello 👋🏼

I’m back on the feed! 💃🏽 I mean, it only took nearly a year 😅 Since my last post on what sparked my curiosity to get into the events industry, a lot of things have happened!

The biggest update is that I am now officially a Mrs! 💍 My best friend Erik and I made it official on December 4th, 2021 with our immediate families and closest friends. I’ve shared a few posts over on our joint page and on my personal page (plus a few on my highlights). It was an intimate brunch celebration but it really felt like our wedding celebrations lasted a whole 2 weeks. We got to spend quality time with more of our family and friends pretty much every day leading up to our wedding and after our wedding.

This past (almost) year has primarily been a mix of -
💭 preparing for our wedding and our marriage overall;
🥂 enjoying the first couple of months of married life + finally living together;
🏠 waiting for our first home to be renovated ( please expedite our reno application 🙏🏼 we’ve been waiting for nearly 16 weeks now);
📚 studying for a rental property management course (yes I’ve added another thing to my list lol)
📸🌱👩🏽‍🍳 working with +
🍽 food and nutrition;
💍 styled shoots, mini events and now, back to weddings (sooo excited for a lot of couples finally getting married after the last 2+ years of waiting!);
🧘🏽‍♀️😴 and resting!

2021 was a full year and even laying it all out seemed like a mouthful 😮‍💨 Although it was a huge mix of valleys and mountains, I’m thankful for it all! I’m also really excited for this year; from all the people I get to work alongside with (and have yet to meet) to all the places I get to see and experience to sharing all things events and weddings related.

And if you’ve made it this far in my decently long comeback post, thank you for you 🙏🏼 this journey has been a wild one and it’s only the beginning.

& WE ARE BACK! 🥂

Since officially starting Chiantelle Nicole Events back in 2018 I’ve met so many amazing people in the events & weddings industry, got to celebrate the best couples and organizations, learned so much (and still learning) in coordination, management & design, and just overall create a positively memorable experience from start to finish.

This past year especially really taught me the value of intentionality, community & connection. Because of the many lessons learned, I’ve narrowed down my services and it’s now live on my website (www.chiantellenicoleevents.com).

Hello hello! First and foremost - Happy Monday! 🥂 I hope you're all doing well! It has been quite a while since I've posted on here and I've noticed a lot of new people join our community, so I wanted to reintroduce myself. Plus I've got some updates for you that I'll be sharing over the next few weeks so without further ado -

Hi! My name is Chiantelle. 👋🏼 I'm a certified event planner and wedding coordinator based in Vancouver, BC. I'm a firm believer that everyone has a story worth sharing and ideas worth spreading. I love creating memories and being able to bring people's visions to life whether that be as an intimate gathering or an elaborate celebration. Sustainability and community are my two values and I do my best to implement them in every event. Also - I'M ENGAGED! 💍 Woohoo!

This year also marks Year 3 of Chiantelle Nicole Events & Weddings, and I have learned SO much over the years. Last year in particular was definitely a year where a lot of us probably didn't expect to turn out the way it did yet here we still are. For me it was a whole lot of taking three steps forward, pausing, taking a few steps back and then forward again.

I'm still learning & adjusting, and in all honesty, those two things will never stop. Although there were situations and moments that weren't ideal, there were a whole lot of other positives that came out of the chaos and uncertainty. Over the last few months I've been re-evaluating and adjusting my services moving forward. The official relaunch is coming Spring 2021 and I'm excited to share them with you! 💃🏽

In the meantime I'd love to know in the comments if there's anything you would like to see more of and/or if you have any questions that I can help you with. I've got a few things lined up already and want to make sure that you get as much value and inspiration on here too.

HAPPY NATIONAL WEDDING PLANNER DAY! 🥂

It has been quite some time since I've posted here on Facebook, let alone my stories. How have you been?!

Since my last post, here are a few highlights/updates personally & professionally -
• Just before wedding season started last year I officially (finally) received my designation as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist™ Chia's Eats
• I've been creating memorable events with the White Table Catering Co. team
• I fulfilled my "at least 2 trips per year" promise that I made to myself in 2017 last year by going to Mexico with Erik's family, and got to go to Portland for the Tastemaker Conference
• Celebrated Year 2 this past January of launching Chiantelle Nicole Events & Weddings, and got to go to the Pangea Dreams alumni retreat in Palm Springs
• Erik & I tried out vlogging and sharing our adventures over at Life On The Regular
• COVID introduced itself fully to the world and what a turn of events!

Being in the events & weddings industry is both challenging and rewarding. I've always wanted to be an event planner and I'm thankful for all the experiences and lessons I've had. Honestly, this pandemic has been a blessing in disguise. It has taught me so much about myself & my purpose. Things are in transition and I've been working on a lot behind the scenes to create something I've been wanting to pursue for years. I'll share with all soon (🤞🏼 by the end of this year!).

In the meantime a big THANK YOU to everyone in this community & in this industry that I've met over the years for the love, the encouragement, the support, & the prayers! 💛🥂

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥂

It has been a VERY long time since I last posted on this page and my apologies on that! A lot has happened in 2018 (ever since the last quarter of 2017 actually) for Chiantelle Nicole Events and Weddings. After taking my The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada certification the Fall of 2017, 2018 was all about creating a foundation. I officially launched my new business in the beginning of 2018, coordinated weddings (plus witnessed some of my closest friends get married) and planned events within the community. I expanded my knowledge and refined my skills with the help of Faye Cornhill Coaching and LVL Academy. Then in the last quarter of 2018, I became one of the Event Specialists and in-house nutritionist for White Table Catering Co.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without this amazing community so a big THANK YOU to each and every one of you for your love and support!! 2018 has been a transformative year and I am so excited for what 2019 will bring!
