Beautiful settings. Thoughtful hospitality. Experiences that bring people together.

This past weekend, more than 250 guests gathered at North Arm Farm for an unforgettable long table dinner, featuring a four-course menu thoughtfully paired with exceptional wines in one of British Columbia’s most picturesque settings.

We had the privilege of working alongside the Canucks TopTable hospitality team as a sommelier, serving guests throughout the evening and returning to the craft that helped shape her approach to hospitality and event leadership.

At EA Productions, experiences like these reinforce what we believe every successful event is built upon: genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and a commitment to making every guest feel welcomed and cared for.

Whether we’re producing a conference, leadership retreat, gala, or outdoor dining experience, those same principles guide everything we do.

Every detail was intentionally curated to bring people together, encourage fresh thinking, and create lasting memories. There’s nothing quite like stepping away from the office to reconnect with your team.

Most people walk into a venue and see the aesthetics.

I walk in thinking:
Where’s the guest bottleneck?
Can the bar handle a rush?
Where does registration flow?
Is there enough power?
What’s the load-in situation?
Who handles catering?
What hidden costs are about to appear in my budget spreadsheet at 11:47 PM? 👀

A venue tour isn’t just about finding a pretty room.
It’s about understanding whether the space can actually support the experience you’re trying to create.

From accessibility and parking to coat check, vendor rules, AV infrastructure, and guest flow, every detail matters long before event day arrives.

Mother’s Day … but make it a graduation celebration too. 🌷👨‍🎓🎓. This weekend we transformed a backyard into a celebration of two very important things: the Mums who built the foundation, and the grads getting ready to build what’s next. Because the best events do not have to fit neatly into one box. Sometimes the magic is in blending milestones together. Intimate. Elevated. Vancouver, don’t underestimate what your back yard can become.

We started with a fabrication shop.

And somehow… it became this.

Two days. 300+ people.
One idea: what if the future of work actually felt connected?

Powered by people. Driven by technology.

So we built it. Literally.

Welding bays became gathering spaces.
Concrete floors turned into conversation hubs.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, something clicked.

Because the best events don’t just fit a space.
They transform it.

Another season in the books. 🏒✨

While the standings might tell one story, I’ll tell you another.

Behind every game night at Rogers Arena, there’s a team that shows up early, stays late, and delivers at a level most people never see. Premium hospitality isn’t just service. It’s anticipation. It’s choreography. It’s knowing that every detail, every interaction, every moment matters.

This season, I had the privilege of working alongside a team that consistently raised the bar. Calm under pressure, sharp in ex*****on, and genuinely invested in the guest experience from first arrival to final buzzer.

And that’s the part I’ll celebrate.

Because whether it’s a sold-out arena, a corporate conference, or a private event, the principle is the same:
Great events are built on great teams.

So yes… maybe the Vancouver Canucks didn’t finish where they wanted to this year.

But this team?

We finished first. 🥇

Site visits aren’t optional. They’re where the event actually begins.

Yesterday I walked through ahead of a 300-guest reception for leaders across Canada’s building and infrastructure community and this is where the real design work happens:

• How guests arrive and what they feel in the first 30 seconds
• Where speakers and VIPs move behind the scenes (without disrupting flow)
• Food + bar placement that creates connection, not lineups
• Layouts that naturally pull people into conversation
• Moments for activation that feel seamless, not staged

Because when collaboration is the theme, the space has to support it.

And hosting in a cultural centre like this changes everything. It grounds the experience. It creates a sense of respect, presence, and shared purpose before a single word is spoken.

This is the difference between planning an event… and designing an experience.

Behind every seamless experience is a thousand intentional decisions.

On-site with our AV partners walking through every detail for the set for the Future of Work show. Sight lines, sound, transitions, lighting, rigging and flow… all dialled in well before doors open.

Because great events don’t happen by accident. They’re built.
