KALEIDO is as multi-faceted and kaleidoscopic as they come, she’s an award winning Fashion & Climate Activist/Sustainability Manager by day, and a techno/house DJ and event organizer on the weekend. With awards under her belt such as the City of Vancouver’s 2022 Greenest City Leadership award, and Corporate Knight’s 2021 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders in Canada—intersectionality is at the root of what KALEIDO does.
After being an integral part of building the Vancouver underground scene in the last 3 years, KALEIDO founded in 2023, a multi-artistic events collective representing femmes and QTBIPOC+ artists that centre inclusion, intentional events, and partying with a purpose.
KALEIDO has played at various DIY venues and outdoor events across North America. Notable ones being Public Disco, Burning Man, Dolly Disco, and Gorgomish. Her style is diverse, ranging from 160bpm Tekno and electro to 125bpm feel good house. However, she always has a soft spot for acid techno and the euro-style rave and breaks sound.
Whether it‘s climate organizers or acid techno heads, her infectious sound will get you dancing, and her social impact and equity work with her ethical fashion company (threadingchange.org) will make you hungry for change.
