Photographers are definitely the cool kids at any event and .adams is one of the coolest. Every shoot with her is a freakin' dream, and today was absolutely NO exception. Watching her and .of.rue work literally effortlessly hand in hand was so wicked. The way they made my brand and experience boxes come to life made me giddy. I cannot wait to share these images with the world!

Today, on a day when we normally celebrate, we are choosing a day of reflection. As a commitment to further educate ourselves, to walk the walk, I will be seeking to include Indigenous small businesses in my Experience Box offerings. If you know or own an Indigenous owned small artisan business, please send me the info.

Finally, for the month of July all Experience Box sales will have 20% of the profits donated to Canadian organizations supporting Residential School Survivors.

This is our history, this is our duty as Canadian to learn and to do better.

I can't begin to express the amount of love and joy that goes into creating each and every experience box.

The butterflies in my stomach, the bursting in my heart, and the words buzzing through my mind as I hand pick each and every item.

Arranging and rearranging, 'hmming and hawwing', changing little things up to best suit the recipient.

Then I send the gift giver a picture to make sure it's just the way they want. If it isn't, I rearrange again to get it perfect.

I then wrap it all up, careful to envision what it'll look like when the recipient opens it, imagining the joy and excitement on their faces.

Usually, I'm then waiting on pins and needles to see how you liked your gift. And when I'm lucky enough to hear feedback, my stomach flutters all over again, my heart bursts with joy and I do a little happy dance knowing I helped make your gifting experience all the more special.

So if you want a gift that is filled with love, good vibes, and is helping make the lives of many small businesses, hit me up ❤️
