Both of my Thanksgiving Floral Workshops are filling up, and I still have room for a few more people.
Come spend 90 minutes creating your own fresh floral pumpkin arrangement for your Thanksgiving table. I’ll have everything ready for you, including the flowers, pumpkin, supplies and step-by-step instruction.

I’m opening up a couple of floral workshops just before Thanksgiving! 🍂
Come play with flowers with me and create a fresh autumn arrangement in a pumpkin, ready for your Thanksgiving table or to take along as a hostess gift.
I’ve been designing wedding and event flowers for almost 20 years, and I thought it would be fun to share some of what I’ve learned and spend a little time creating together.
I’m offering just two small workshops at my home studio in Angus:
Thursday, October 8 | 7:00–8:30 pm
Saturday, October 10 | 11:00 am–12:30 pm
$55 + HST, with all flowers and supplies included. No floral experience needed.

Sometimes the sweetest feedback comes from the people who have a special part to play in the wedding day. 🤍

I received this lovely note from the bride’s uncle after a recent wedding. He had an important role in the ceremony, and his comment about the “coaching” I gave everyone at the rehearsal really made me smile.

When I run a wedding rehearsal, I don’t just tell everyone where to stand, when to walk and what to do.

I also like to share a little of the why behind some of the traditions and moments they’ll be part of. I think understanding the meaning behind what you’re doing makes the ceremony feel that much more special.

And, of course, we make sure everyone knows where they’re going, what they’re doing and what happens next. That's a given.

So receiving a note afterward saying that those details helped everything flow smoothly through the wedding day meant an awful lot to me.
That's exactly what I want a rehearsal to do... help everyone feel prepared and relaxed, so that when the wedding day arrives, they can simply be present and enjoy it.

I don't mean to brag, but facts are facts. I really do have the best couples ever. 🤍

One of my favourite parts of this work is getting to know each couple beyond the timelines, flowers and seating plans.

I get to hear how they met, learn what matters most to them, meet the people they love and help create a celebration that feels completely like them.

By the time the wedding day arrives, I’m not just checking boxes on a schedule. I’m genuinely invested in making sure they can relax, be fully present and enjoy every moment.

So many of the couples I work with come to me through referrals from past clients, and that is something I will never take for granted. There is no greater compliment than having someone trust me with their wedding and then recommend me to someone they love.

To all of my past couples: thank you for inviting me into such an important chapter of your lives. You truly are the best. 🥂

And to the couples still planning your day, I would love to get to know you too.

I spent some time at the Hofland Floral Showcase last week surrounded by 60 varieties of Alexandra Farms garden roses and honestly... it was heaven!
The colour variations, the texture, the scent these are the kind of flowers that completely transform a wedding design. Safe to say I left feeling inspired. 🌸. flowers

This is where most of the real wedding planning happens. Glamorous eh?
Yes, there are flowers, venues, and all the pretty details, but a lot of it looks like this. Me, in my office, working through timelines, contacting vendors, thinking ahead and solving problems before they ever become problems.
It's the behind-the-scenes work that makes your wedding day feel calm instead of chaotic.
