Jessica & Josh’s sunny October wedding at Elle by Stella was such a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. Weddings, like life, doesn't always go to plan. In this case, morning prep took longer than expected. It's a situation where newbie wedding vendors might panic and get flustered. Thankfully, J&J booked a stellar vendor team who knows how to overcome unexpected changes.
One of the things I tell my couples is that a wedding timeline is just a guide. When things unexpectedly shift, we adapt with grace, and guests would never know the difference. We seamlessly moved couple's portraits to cocktail hour, and the lower sun ended up giving us the most incredible, romantic golden glow. Silver... or should I say golden linings.
Jessica & Josh walked down the aisle to the most beautiful harp music, exchanged touching vows that inspired more than a few tears among guests, and hosted a gathering steeped in joy and celebration.
I can't speak highly enough of the incredible vendors who knew how to adapt and pivot. Elle by Stella truly never misses. The outdoor ceremony space is so peaceful, with the river and waterfall providing a backdrop that really needs no extra help. Nathan Grieve pulled some strings at the last minute to make sure everything was ready to go, then brought his usual humorous energy to the ceremony, and Nitro Music kept the good vibes going all night. Being part of a group of vendors who saved the day, and made wedding dreams come true is an honour and makes this job so meaningful to me. Congrats Jessica & Josh 🥂
