When we were brainstorming locations for Mel & Mackenzie's engagement session, we narrowed our sights on historic buildings. I sent a list of places I suggested to the couple and coincidentally, they chose Castle Kilbride. I actually grew up just a few steps from this magical place and have only taken photos here once, more than a decade ago. I don't know why I don't suggest it more often because WOWZERS what a gorgeous location it is for engagement photos. 😍 🤩 It helps that Mel & Mac took my direction and prompts so naturally and the light was 🤌

Tori & Sean's wedding day was unlike any I've photographed before. They got married on the campus of the private school where Sean works as a teacher and where he, Tori and their two adorable boys live. The church and campus are stunning. The newlyweds and their exclusive guest list took a short drive to a nearby restaurant, where a romantic candlelit dinner awaited them. The vibes were high, and got even higher when a second round of guests showed up for the party. 🥂💃

I was genuinely shocked to realize that I haven't yet given Chelsea & Scott's River’s Edge at the Arlington wedding a permanent spot on my feed. Anytime I'm able to document a wide gamut of human connections and genuine emotions, I'm having a blast. Being in a gorgeous and romantic location like River's Edge at the Arlington Hotel in Paris, Ontario is the icing on the wedding cake. I just booked a wedding there for next year and I can't wait to be back!

Twenty Ever After 🥂 Cara and David made their 20th wedding anniversary memorable. They dressed up, re-read their original wedding vows to each other, cut the cake, and took some fun portraits with their 13-year-old, Freddie. It was such a pleasure to get to know them and hear about some of the most memorable moments from their wedding day. Coincidentally, Cara and David's twentieth anniversary landed almost exactly on my own tenth wedding anniversary, so I was already feeling nostalgic that day. Congratulations Cara & David for 20 years, and beautiful family. 🥂 Here's to the next 20. Cheers!

The beautiful thing about relationships is that they come in all different shapes, sizes, colours, quantities and orientations and we still clearly recognize it simply as love. Kayla, Amanda and Dylan joined together in a polyamorous throuple many years ago and decided to celebrate their devotion to each other in a beautiful backyard commitment ceremony this summer. Though not a legal wedding, it had all the magic and romance of one. It was such an honour to capture all of the connection, joy and love. And love, after all, doesn't have to look one particular way to be unmistakable.

The world looks extra beautiful as you recount your favourite moments of the day, like...
