A little overdue, but help us give a BIG congratulations to Abominable Events Owner Sam Paradee! 👏 This past summer, Sam was named one of the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce's Top 40 Under 40!
If you've attended an Abominable Events competition, you've seen a little piece of what Sam has worked so hard to build over the years.
We wanted to share part of her recognition biography because there's a whole lot more to Sam than what you see on competition weekends!
"Samantha Paradee is an accomplished entrepreneur, sport leader, and passionate advocate for youth development who has spent over 15 years transforming the landscape of cheerleading in Southern Alberta.
As a driving force behind Peak Elite Cheerleading, Peak Elite High River, Cheer Events, and Abominable Events, Samantha has built a portfolio of businesses dedicated to creating opportunities for athletes, coaches, and sporting communities across Canada.
Through Abominable Events, she has developed premier cheerleading competitions that bring together thousands of athletes and families, while Cheer Events supports the sport through innovative event management and competition technology.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Samantha is a respected judge, consultant, coach, and sport administrator. Her contributions have earned numerous recognitions, including the Alberta Cheerleading Association's Outstanding Contributions Award.
We're so happy to see Sam recognized for the work she continues to put into the cheerleading community, both here in Alberta and across Canada."
