We are back at it again with another massive event! The Ontario Inter-Club Challenge will take place this weekend and will be a TRAK Points Race. This is a Briggs ‘ONLY’ event. Here’s what you need to know:

The phone has been busy over the last few days with some popular questions. I hope to clarify below:

1. ALL TRAK ‘Briggs’ Members are encouraged to participate as this is a standard points race for your Briggs class. It is important to note that eligibility is granted to any drivers who holds a valid Club license. A National license is NOT required. As a TRAK Member you are all set.

2. This is a single-day event, with racing taking place this Sunday. The event features a unique format offering additional heat races for Briggs participants.

3. This is a TRAK points race and as such TRAK points will be awarded based on your overall finishing position within your class. We will then rank the total points scored between TRAK members only and the TRAK member who scored the most points in their respective class will be awarded 1stPlace Championship points. The TRAK member who scores the second most combined points in that same class will score 2ndplace championship points. So on and so forth.

4. Saturday is an optional ‘Series Organized’ controlled practice day for those looking to get further prepared for Sunday’s racing action.

5. Registration is still available online until Friday at 8pm. Pre-registering for the event is greatly appreciated as class counts will impact the schedule. Thank you for your cooperation.

05/12/2025

This weekend, the iconic Goodwood Kartways plays host to the opening round of the KartStars Canada Karting Championship. Since its inception, KartStars has been dedicated to giving back to the karting community by delivering exceptional value. From reduced entry fees and extended track time to discounted race tires and fuel, and a prize package designed to reward participation, KartStars continues to raise the bar.

Now in season six, our mission remains the same: deliver high-quality regional racing that's accessible, affordable, and rewarding for all competitors.

Reflecting on the success of the 2024 season, which saw record-breaking participation at select events, the KartStars Team remains committed to continuous improvement. As the 2025 season kicks off, we're excited to carry that momentum into Round One.

Here are five great reasons to join us this weekend:

Regional Racing w/ cooperation from Ontario’s ‘Big Three’ at Club-Level Pricing
We understand the importance of affordability. While a typical club race costs between $100–$150 for four sessions, KartStars offers six sessions for Single-Day classes, offered at a lower cost per session. KartStars Cadet, Junior, and Senior classes come at a significantly reduced rate, making regional racing more accessible than ever and for the first time in the better part of a decade, Hamilton Karting Complex, Mosport Karting Centre and Goodwood Kartways are all working together to support one platform.
National-Class Racing with Tailored Formats
We cater to both Vortex and Briggs racers, understanding their different needs. Briggs competitors can enjoy a full race day in a cost-conscious, single-day format. Vortex racers experience an elite, two-day format culminating in exciting Sunday finals. Briggs drivers can even opt to race a second full day in a KartStars class for just over $100—excellent value for those looking to double their track time.
Trusted, Experienced Race Management
With a team that has been in place since the series began, KartStars events are run by professionals who have run high level events for decades. Our experienced staff ensure smooth, well-organized race weekends from start to finish.
Financial Relief for Serious Racers
We know competitive karting can be expensive. That’s why Vortex racers are limited to one discounted tire set for the weekend, while Briggs competitors have flexible tire options and no mandatory purchases. Plus, all racers can enjoy a 10% discount on new tires when purchasing during registration. It is important to note, Briggs racers who choose to run new tires for qualifying, must purchase their race tires through the KartStars registration platform and at a discounted price. No exception.
We are going LIVE. KartChaser comes to Canada for the first time!
Giving you the exposure you deserve, KartStars Canada continues to reinvest into their programs. We know our racers put on a show, now its time to show the rest of the world. Be sure to join us as KartChaser streams the event LIVE!

The 2025 season is here, and we can’t wait to see you on the grid at Round One.

Online registration closes Wednesday, May 14 at 8:00 PM.

The Toronto Racing Association of Karters held their Annual ‘Spring Training’ this past Sunday, and what an incredible day it was! Despite the cold April morning with temperatures dipping below zero, the most dedicated karting families in Ontario showed up to make the best of it. In total, a record-breaking 118 entries took to the track for their first laps of the year, with 43 drivers earning their first-ever ‘Club Racing License’ after completing the Rookie Orientation program. This program included both an in-class testing segment and on-track observation by our Officiating Team. It was fantastic to be back on the track! It was clear that our members missed it just as much as we’ve missed them.

With a quick turnaround, TRAK Race One is coming up this Saturday, April 12th. The Goodwood Kartways crew is working tirelessly to prepare for what promises to be a fantastic season opener – the 3rd Annual Bruno Polo Memorial Race. As always, visitors are welcome! Full details are available below.

09/26/2024

The KartStars Canada Season Finale, known as one of the year’s best events, is back with its thrilling Night Race. Since 2009, Goodwood Kartways has hosted this exciting event under the lights, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. If you’ve never experienced it before, this is your chance!

“This race is a highlight for many karters, and we aim to make it better each year,” said Daniel Di Leo. “Racing under the lights is special, it’s a must-see. The kids have a blast! Lit-up karts and an outdoor movie presented by ‘That’s Sapore’. We invite families and racers from all clubs to join us for a great night at the track.”

The event will feature top kart racers from across Ontario as they compete to finish their season championships. With Kid Karts also in the mix, the energy will be electric! This year’s race follows a single-day format, with six on-track sessions per class. Gates open at 9 AM, and the drivers’ meeting starts at 10:30 AM. The day includes practice, qualifying, two heat races, and a pre-final, leading up to the finals, which take place after sunset. As is tradition, LED lights will be allowed on karts, and the night will end with exciting finals for the KartStars Cadet, Junior, and Senior categories. The usual KartStars raffles will happen at the podium presentation.

Kid Karts will also be part of the show, and don’t forget to grab a special Taco Bowl from the Snack Bar (while supplies last). To reserve a Taco Bowl, email [email protected]. For the kids, there will be an outdoor movie at the podium area, complete with complimentary popcorn and water, courtesy of That’s Sapore (while supplies last). Parents should email [email protected] if their child plans to watch the movie, so they can plan accordingly. Children are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag or blanket for comfort, and parental supervision is advised for younger kids.

KartStars practice is available on Friday, September 27th, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Large grids are expected, and visiting club members are welcome. Extra pit lighting is recommended for the evening. Registration is now open, with discounts on race tires, fuel, and oil for those who pre-register. The online platform closes on Thursday, September 26th, at 8 PM.

Just a reminder, our friends at CanadianKartingNews.com will be covering the KartStars Finale this Saturday and have their awesome photo packages available for purchase. Take home a 13x19 professional printed photo along with all the digital images of your driver from the weekend for only $125.00!
