Girls & Women in STEM day is on Saturday, August 15th from 9-12, and will focus on building confidence and new skills through environmental stewardship. We will have a ton of different stations that you can explore at your own pace, from a variety of nature crafts to wandering the beautiful Tyne Valley trails with binoculars in hand. It’s a free event for women and girls of all ages, and light refreshments are included! Huge thanks to Britannia Hall and the Rural Municipality of Tyne Valley for the event location and trails, and to the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat for helping fund this event. Some tickets remain for this Fridays show, The Two Tellars, with musical interludes from Harold and Marnie Noye! On sale at ’s Convenience, Ellerslie Rite Stop and Valley Pearl Oyster. If you wanted to make arrangements to pay and pick up at door message here and we will see what can be arranged! $25 per person, 7 pm showtime.
