It was so awesome to welcome over 400 swifties to the Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage in Memorial Park yesterday for our first free summer concert of the season! Thank you to everyone who joined us, and for this who missed it, be sure to catch us for a whole series of great events this summer including Tweed's Front Porch Ruckus, Tweed Lions Club Music in the Park, Tweed Peace Project, Tweed Harvest Festival, and of course, PRACTICALLY HIP @ The Tweed Outdoor Stage this fall! It's going to be another awesome year in the Municipality of Tweed, we'll see you there!!!

📣📣GET READY FOR A MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage SUMMER SEASON!!

We're thrilled to say that this year’s major concerts at the Tweed Outdoor Stage will be completely FREE! It's just one of the ways we're working hard to promote accessibility, affordability, and engagement within the region’s arts scene. We've made it our mission to make live performances more available to all, bringing the joy of live music to a wider audience and further enriching the cultural fabric of Hastings County.

Along with some soon-to-be-announced local supporters, we'll carry the expenses of this year’s concerts and hope that attendees will still consider making a contribution on par with their experience at the shows, in a sort of "Pay What You Feel" donation model. There are still several major expenses associated with these events, including the artists, accommodations, sound, and the maintenance of the stage, so we do hope our awesome audiences will still pitch in where they can to help make these concerts an ongoing success, and a major event in our community.

Another fantastic night last night on the outdoor stage! Thanks to our friend Freddy Vette, and the incredible The Commodores' Orchestra for putting on a spectacular show. The weather was perfect, the crowd was dancing, and the sound was exceptional. What a great way to finish off the summer! Stay tuned for exciting announcements on next season coming soon…

In the event of rain this performance will be moved indoors to the Tweed Kiwanis Pavilion, but either way the show must go on, so be sure to grab your tickets and come and down and join us at Tweed's Memorial Park tonight at 7 PM!

🎸WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR THIS WEEKEND!🎸

The weather is looking fantastic, join us for an incredible evening of music! Freddy Vette, one of central Ontario's favourite rock 'n roll singers, will be playing with The Commodores, Canada's original big swing band. And in Freddy's backyard, too! At the Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage, Saturday, September 21st @ 7 PM.

The Quinte King of Rock and Roll, Freddy has been gracing the stages of Ontario and beyond for years with his own band, Freddy Vette and The Flames. He's also been rocking' the airwaves at 800 CJBQ radio. Now, he'll be bringing down the house with Canada's oldest continuously-operating big swing band!

Nearing their 100th year (coming up in 2027!), the Commodores are at the height of their power. The seventeen musicians, some of the finest between Toronto and Ottawa, include Grammy and JUNO winners/nominees. They're not just the big swing band of the World War Two era anymore. The music is arranged entirely by Brian Barlow, percussionist in the Grammy-winning Rob McConnell & the Boss Brass in the 80s. Brian also drums with the Commodores in this show. The two genres might seem an odd fit, but rock'n roll did grow out of the big band era. And in the hands of one of Canada's greatest big band arrangers, the music goes together as if it should never have been separated.
