We learned from last year on the July long weekend……. This year? July 8, Saturday (first day of stampede) we are going to plan for a party!

Estimate from 1200-10pm for those who want to go to city for parade etc.

Usual roles - can’t have food trucks etc but apart from that? Good to go. Will be printing off flyers for people again this year as we didn’t last year and it showed.

Yard sales for the cul-de-sac

I was going to have a yard sale on the 21st (my first weekend off) and wondered if it was worth reaching out and seeing if anybody else interested? We could have a few at the same time and throw a few signs up?

One week to to. No restrictions. This should be a lot of fun. We all need the break and the letting off of steam after the past 18 months on nonsense.

Plans to shut the streets at midday…..??? Any thoughts? Any earlier and nine of us will make it past 5pm 😁😁

Just in case y’all missed it, it’s St. Paddy’s day next week and I’m not saying I am having a party as that would be naughty and against Dr. Bonkers latest regulations, but I know I’m taking the bairn to Hard Knox for lunch on Saturday and when we come home? Just maybe I’ll light the firepit. Maybe others will come by to check it’s not too bright or hot. And if you are checking? Maybe I’ll have you pop into the kitchen and fetch a beer...........

Well folks - decent weather at least! Well, for the time of year!
Hope you all still going to come out. To date, the restrictions of the city are not in effect in the sensible zone we live in.

Has anybody any thoughts on set up and take down? Will we put the bouncy castles out? I plan on having a fire pit later too.

Maybe even a few adult bevvies......

My thoughts? Set up at midday for the kids as the sun will be just peeking over the street? Thoughts?

Okay folks - so it’s official, Halloween party is a go! Saturday 31st from midday to 10pm. Streets closed.

Only stipulation? No pot luck. So if you are making food? It has to stay in your garden.

Any ideas always welcome.
