One of the best ways to "get your happy on" is to attend our Mid-Summer Dance on Tuesday, July 29, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Truro! Our five-piece band strikes up the music at 7:30 and continues until 10:00, with a short intermission. Admission is $10 and there are no age restrictions; visitors of all ages are welcome. A variety of rhythms provides dancers with a choice of dances: waltz, foxtrot, jive, freestyle, line dance and polka. There's a large hardwood dance floor with space to move freely. We will be welcoming a group of Parkland residents to this dance and Parkland will have an information table set up. We thank this retirement living group for their monetary donation to our club. Dancers are reminded of the dance at the Noel Legion, with music by Max and The Boys, on Sunday, July 27, 1 - 4.
