Event Essentials is more than just a service provider; it's a heartfelt family endeavor dedicated to crafting unforgettable events across Ontario. At its core is Shaeree, owner and operator, whose three decades of experience are the bedrock of the company. Her illustrious journey began in 1995 as a DJ, travelling extensively and entertaining diverse clientele.
A pivotal moment in 2004 saw her unexpectedly step into wedding photography when a friend's photographer failed to appear, leveraging her years as a hobby and wildlife photographer to save precious memories.
In 2015, Event Essentials officially took shape when Shaeree acquired three retiring decor businesses, from which she has meticulously transformed countless venues and brought countless bridal dreams to life.
Complementing Shaeree’s seasoned expertise is her 20-year-old daughter, Madison, who has been an integral part of the team for the past five years. As an aspiring artist, Madison brings a unique creative flair to Event Essentials, with her talent for elegantly swagging ceilings, arches, and backdrops ensuring that every visual element is not just assembled, but artfully designed for a true "wow factor."
The heart of the Event Essentials family extends further to include Shaeree’s 15-year-old daughter, Paige. While Paige currently dreams of bringing catering services to the company, her presence also underscores a compassionate and personal aspect of their work.
Paige, who is autistic, sometimes finds her mom and sister’s absences challenging. To ease her mind and connect her to their journey, Shaeree often captures a special photo – typically featuring the bride, affectionately known as 'the Princess,' with her mom – and sends it to Paige. This touching ritual is why Event Essentials sometimes requests a moment to take such a picture, a small gesture that brings immense comfort to a cherished family member.
