My rule is simple: if something catches my eye, it goes in the cart.

The problem is... once one thing goes in, my brain decides it needs friends. Suddenly I'm matching pillows with baskets, baskets with pottery, pottery with linens, and somehow I've accidentally curated an entire collection.

Then I do one lap around the store, come back to reality, pick my favourite piece (or two)... and leave my carefully assembled cart for the next lucky thrifter lol

Please tell me I'm not the only one who shops like this.

Around here...
We wander small-town main streets.
We take the back roads.
We stop for local shops, antique malls, and yard sales.
We find hidden gems worth sharing.
We gather around the table on Sundays.
We snip wildflowers from the roadside.
We pack the picnic.
We style cozy corners.
We celebrate the seasons.
We chase sunsets.
We cheer from the sidelines.

We believe ordinary days are worth romanticizing.

Every mom has a different version of "Give me a minute."

Mine has become a bit of a joke because my kids have started timing me. They literally tell Google to set a timer for one minute. 😅

But this is the minute I'm talking about...

Lately it's been a mug of hot water with this lemon-infused honey, something sweet to nibble on, and a stack of magazines.

No scrolling. Just a few quiet minutes before jumping back into mom mode.
