As most you know, I have always considered Ustad Mehdi Hassan to be the Shahensha (The King) of Ghazals - a stand alone artist in every right, the one and only - demonstrating a caliber of excellence to the genre that is sorely missed and won’t be easily replaced.

With his life story and incredible musical journey touching our hearts and souls, he has been one of the largest influences in the history of Ghazal music.

I am pleased to share the extraordinary story of the man himself, available in 25 languages, available on Amazon and by pre-order internationally.

This book is a must read! Not only by fans of Mehdi Hassan or Ghazal but for any lover of music and Indian classical art. 🙏
Mr. Hassan is the essence of true musical devotion through his golden and unparalleled voice, skill and commitment to the art form and Dr. Dipesh has done a brilliant job bring this untold story to life and to the masses.
