It’s my job to post about the joy of weddings, but I can’t in good conscience do ‘business as usual’ - when there are lives being lost in Gaza and Israel.

Instead, I wrote an unconventional blog post: “How to Honour the Weddings that will never be”. I’m choosing to hold space for the children that will never get to hold hands and fall in love; and the parents that will never get to walk them down the aisle.

Wedding Planning isn’t black and white. There are so many grey areas that overlap, because far too often, one decision is dependent upon the other. If this resonates with you, just know you’re not alone.

SIMPLY GRATEFUL ✨

From time to time, I look back at pictures and videos of our couples. Every wedding has moments that stand out to me, and for this wedding, it was the heartfelt speeches. Happy 1st year anniversary Alyanna and Joshua! I miss how fun that day was, and I wish more happiness for you both.

We are 6 seasons in, going on 7 and even after all these weddings, I still get goosebumps, teary eyed and elated the moment right before the walk down the aisle. It’s a magical feeling like no other, and I don’t think it’ll ever get old for me. I am so grateful for all of the couples that have said ‘Yes’ to Ann + Co. all these years. Happy Thanksgiving weekend - thank you, thank you, thank you! 🫶🏽
