Happy love day! V-day marks the perfect occasion to do a little intro for those of you wondering about our vibe. We've been planning weddings for over a decade and our team consists of open hearted creatives with an unwavering dedication to the art of wedding planning and design. We approach wedding planning with an experience driven process and affinity for contemporary and timeless design.

A big part of what defines our process is that we don't play into the traditional wedding tropes. Let's be real, sometimes weddings can come with a lot of baggage, opinions and expectations. Your wedding will be rad and meaningful, but we're just not into the notion of trying to outdo someone else's wedding, trying to impress your guests (our vibe is taking care of your people) and we certainly aren't here for feeding into the unrealistic expectation that a wedding day is supposed to be "perfect". Perfect doesn't exist. A room full of love, a seamless ex*****on of your timeline, booking vendors who genuinely care about what they do, thoughtful design - these are the types of things we believe in.

Will we work our buns off to create, design and run a freaking wondrous celebration? You betcha. Your wedding experience is what you make it and we love working with clients who connect with the heart of what a wedding is VS societal expectations.

Happy Friday! Running Blush & Bowties for the past 10 years has opened doors of opportunity to other avenues I am interested in, one of them being education for planners. When I launched my wedding planning business a decade ago, I felt confused and lost in a sea of competition. Pricing, services, systems, styling, branding, marketing - where to begin? But after many years of trial and error, I carved a clear path and presence in the wedding world. I launched The Modern Wedding Planner's Collective to provide training that takes the guesswork out of how to run a wedding planning business.

Since launching the MWPC (which began as a workshop and evolved into an in depth online course), I've helped over a 100 aspiring planners on their path to running a successful wedding planning business, and it's been a true labour of love to keep this course growing and alive.
