What an absolute honour it was to officiate Laura and Charlie’s wedding ceremony at the beautiful
The sun was shining, the breeze was gentle, and 140 of their dearest friends and family gathered from around the world to witness this long-awaited “I do.”

After nearly ten years together, they made it official with vows so personal and heartfelt, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd (mine included!). It was such a joy to see two best friends commit to forever, surrounded by so much love. Their families were beaming, and the love in the air was undeniable.

Laura and Charlie, thank you for letting me be a part of your incredible love story.

These super-duper sweet humans are getting married in 49 days, and I am so excited to be a part of their forever story!

A two day affair combining romance, personalized touches, an intimate setting and fine wines on Day 1, and a whole lot of family, fun and frolic on Day 2.
You really and truly have thought of your family and friends and what will make everyone happy, including yourselves.

Writing your wedding vows can be a daunting task.
Baring your soul to the love of your life, in front of friends and family can be terrifying.
However, it can be so beautiful and romantic.
It’s a glimpse into your love story and those who get to witness it, will likely not forget it.

Tips:
📝Try to focus only on your partner.
Talk about why you love them, what you are looking forward to, and make promises to each other.

📝Practise reading your vows.
This will help with emotions that may get the best of you.
You will be more comfortable with what you’ve written, and can memorize some of it so you can have eye contact and an authentic delivery.

📝Keep the vows to yourself so it’s a surprise for everyone.

📝Add in some humour and definitely pour your heart out.

💰𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 ~It doesn’t matter if you have unlimited funds to spend on your wedding, or if you need to keep a tighter reign on it.
Everyone should have an amount in their minds that both parties agree on.

We can’t control how much you spend or what you spend it on. That is ultimately your decision.

As your wedding planner, we will remind you when you are getting close to your specified budget and offer suggestions on how best to keep it in check.
You can then decide if you want to scale back, or spend the new amount which will ultimately increase your budget.
Your guest list has a lot to do with the budget.

If you are dreaming of luxury tabletops and florals galore, but are finding it hard to stay within your budget, the best solution is to reduce the number of guests to accommodate these dreams.

The fewer tables that you have to add your upgraded linens, candelabras, and overflowing floral centrepieces ultimately saves you money.

Also, and most importantly, a smaller guest list gives you more time to spend with everyone you care about.
