Every few weeks a couple of boxes of vinyl imports land at the shop. The current climate is making this more expensive, but we still think it’s worth it.

As a disclaimer, these titles are not distributed by major labels up here, hence being labeled an import. Amazon blurs the lines of availability as they import like crazy from the same people we get stuff from, plus all the 3rd party resellers.

I’ve had a lot of success over the past couple years working with our Canadian partners like Sony, Warner and Universal on getting some amazing catalog titles back into domestic distro with better pricing. Perhaps some of these will be next.

3 years ago today, we opened Pop 2.0 on Broadview Avenue! It was a grueling summer of chasing contractors and burning through tons of cash, but we got there! (It took the sign a few more weeks)

When the world lost Brian Wilson this summer, it created immense interest in The Beach Boys classics.

‘SMiLE Sessions’ is a collection of studio work from the band that was recorded in 1966-67. ‘SMiLE’ was intended to be the follow up to their legendary ’Pet Sounds’ album.

This 2LP set was just reissued in August from Capitol Records
